How long can I stand in the mirror 
Where I've been is clearer
Stuck drowning in my own sorrows
No joy for tomorrow

My guard on high alert

Only God knows why
The sparkle in my eyes gone
No hope to dwell on
All three love shown
Rejection applauds the friendzone
Active, attractive, and spiritual love
The stabbing pain thereof
Contemplating suicidal thoughts
Bitterness and anger rots
Its not easy to let go
Pretending to be happy on the low
Words not consistent with action
Slowly pushed away an affirmative fraction
History repeating itself
Lonely heart lies back on the shelf
