Summer of ‘62

In the summer of ‘62

The world was blessed

With a soul brand new

With a contagious smile

And dimples to boot

There’s no denying

She was so cute

With piercing blue eyes

And soft blonde locks

Rosy red cheeks

And frilly white frocks

So placid in nature

An infectious giggle

Strum on her ribs

And she would wriggle

Then many moons passed

As the Summers child grew

In to a beautiful young woman

And at first sight I knew

I wanted to spend

The rest of my life

With my new found friend

To be my wife

She said, ‘Yes’ J

And fifteen years plus

With our ups and our downs

The love between us

Still knows no bounds

I Love You Corinna xxx

A nice tribute to your wife. I'll bet she loves this!
