Sunday

With my head resting on my arm,
listening to the heartbeat
of the earth
I counted the blades of grass
brushing against my hand
and sighed, realizing
that the thoughts I had
did not quite match the beauty
before meĀ

yes words fall short when it comes to portray beauty which lies in front of us. sometimes i think that the sun glows with such a pride that there is so much less energy in my words thanĀ Ā it possess in it's single ray. very amazing poem.. :)

Thank you yes thats a smart way to look at the sun! I hope that no one willĀ be able to capture the true meaning of beauty with mere words and that in order to experience it ourselves we will just have to open our eyes.Ā
