Suspended Animation

I don't want to be buried or burned - do you?
scattered in  the sea, floating forever in ocean blue;
so they placed me in storage, lowered temperature,
now I was waiting, until such time there was a cure..

They woke me up - it was 2301, scary now it's done,
funny thing was, I didn't need a cure since I'd gone;
they said I'd find things different now, yeah I betcha,
no phones or laptop, all you needed was esp to enter.

An old story, I walked past a table with a newsppaper on,
there was a date which meant 77 years since I'd been gone;
we always think of moving forward rather than going back,
time machines to those fun times when nothing you lack.

We had health, not that situation when the heart thumps,
didn't have to worry about ageing with all those lumps and bumps.
