Poem -
Sweet Shade
Oh sudden shade
How thee taste of sweet repose
Whilst fireflies tickle the dark
In the safety of this verdant canopy
Where light can no longer tease my skin -
With its soft kisses
Nor seduce my eyes -
With its hints of glimmer
Oh sudden shade
That eclipsed those dancing shards of light
Which once thrilled thine eyes -
With distorted sight
Now a mere blemish
In a muted breeze
Where I am once again
At ease

Some beautiful, beautiful lines in this. "Sweet repose" oh that is gorgeous. Excellent word choices throughout ...verdant... dancing shards....muted breeze
