Sweet William

Sweet William

An apple lush on crest-stark
Within a ruby target mark
Lover's ruining poison tip
Impaled at sanguine drip

Unharried crescendo e’ermore,
Scattered droplets pour.
Reawakening ardor tis nigh a duty
For I naught be sleeping beauty

Thine nay prince charming,
Though, charms so disarming.
Sweet William I must telltale
Thus devotions indubitably fail.

Mine remote heart tarnished cold,
Thou seek a treasure nare to hold.
Mine winterous lips but frozen bliss,
For thine advances I dismiss.

Save passion for another’s favor
For lips alas shall savor.
Love has no depths to score,
A heart, jaded to the core

Wow!Β  You captured my poem brilliantly and wrapped it up in gold.
Incredible throughout, I am honoured by such an elegant display.
