Sweetest sorrowful sublime

Sweetest sorrowful sublime

Ye’ closed the door within my heart, then threw away thy golden key
Twas’ yon moment when ye’ said we’d part was not my unchained melody
Thy love for ye’ was ne’er-ending just like God’s Oceanic view
I shall dripdrop tears for e’ermore alike thy melancholy, morning dew

Hasten my saddened spirit leave thee, soothe thy dead, foresaken soul cover up thy cracks from crying, harmonize & make me whole
For I am but a lover’s lost dream
A clandestine clock e’er stopped in time, whence the hour ye’ spoke of leaving
Oh thy sweetest sorrowful sublime
