Swirling Sea-Steaming Sake-Surreal Sunday

Twenty-six years ago-Sunday 11/1/92
The fourth time we were together, after three most magic nights;
Was for eight hours on that Sunday, surreal and out of sight!
We had kissed goodbye at four a.m., then met again at noon;
To spend the day together, and watch the coming of the moon!
.
We headed up to Rockport, and stood cuddled on the beach;
We held and kissed a long time, our lips each ones beseech!
Then we went to a well-known restaurant, for hot chowder to warm our bones;
With each spoonful, we kissed some more, unable to leave each other alone!
.
Then we got back in my mini-van, and headed for downtown;
We went to Benihanas, and threw steaming Sake down!
But our kisses were even hotter, our passions were on fire;
We ate dinner at their Hibachi, all at the table felt our desire!
.
We drove back to Linda’s parked car, we held and kissed some more;
We made plans to meet the next evening, both knowing what was in store!
That we would pledge our love forever, after this Sunday so surreal;
We knew we’d found our Soulmates, that this was the real deal!
.
.
Fourth time together
Swirling sea-steaming sake
Permanent passion
