Poem -

Tahilia

Battle cries are sounding
The horses hooves are pounding
Swords on shields are clamoring
To war to war
The blood inside my head
IS rushing to my feet
My mount is tense and delirious
Waiting for the release
Then I see her
Our warrior Queen
Tahilia!
The brave and mighty
She is as beautiful as she is deadly
This defender of nations
This woman that  needs no man
She is quite adept at killing
Like any Stark on any land
Arya cannot surpass her
The great murderess herself
Laigitha is her hand maiden
The Morrigan her God
I worship this woman
Watching the sun gleam off her  sword
Prime of life and savage
Ruthless to her core
She will let nothing stop her quest
To restore her  homeland  nothing more
Oh ye poor fools that tarry
Over long now we are here
Shall join the souls In Valhalla
Because we will send you there

I am a frustrated LOTR person. I would have loved to have been
a female warrior in middle earth  kicking the Orcs butt and fighting for
the right side . and you see in LOTR it was obvious who was good and who was bad,, but in todays world.. not so sure,
thank you for the comment and read

Power to an ancient women and queen. Is it a mythical person too? Love this and love the reference to game of thrones characters too. Beautifully written. 😘💜

Women in history did fight alongside their men   it is  not what I want for my son or daughter, but if one must fight let it be for something
Thank you.  Violet

Yes you are so right she is a mythical queen and a composite of
some very neat female warriors.. Game of thrones rocks and it is
only my deepest sorrow what happened to my dragon queen!!
Blessings to you and your awesome comment

All wars are different.  BUT, All wars are the same.
This was not my war but I can see and feel the meanings and feelings you have put into this poem.  I had some of the feelings when I was at war.
You have really put a lot of heart and meaning into this and I loved it.
