Take Me Back Into Your Womb

Take Me Back Into Your Womb

Mother,

Take me back in that warmth,

where I curled to that quiet and comfort,

Where my smiles weren't tied to the chains,

And tears weren't ruled by endless blames,

Mother,

One more time, let me lie in your lap,

Where all I could see is you, looking at me,

Without any deceit or falsity,

Far from indictments or disparagement,

Mother,

I have traversed for long on the roads of forlorn,

I have breathed for long the air of obloquy and resentfulness,

What I thought was water, was the agonized pain I bathed in,

Mother,

If you may soothe my wounds,

If you may revive my inner-self,

Take me back into your womb....
