Take Me Home

Take Me Home

Here in this country
that is meant to be my place of birth
But not the place that I call homeĀ

I search here and there
and find nothing but emptinessĀ
I feel so alone, I feel so alone

take me back to where my soul was filled
and my heart was wholeĀ
I want to go home, I want to go home

the island is calling me in my dreams
In my conscious dreamsĀ
The calm blue waters, the unwavering warmth

Surrounding me with comfort I needĀ
the friendly smiles, the massage, the touch
and that hot, semi spicy bowl of Tom yum soup

but yet I'm here, caged, no companionship
No Friendship, no special person to call my ownĀ
A cold and lonely loop

I want to go home,
I want to go home.Ā
