Take Me Home

Take Me Home

Here in this country
that is meant to be my place of birth
But not the place that I call home

I search here and there
and find nothing but emptiness
I feel so alone, I feel so alone

take me back to where my soul was filled
and my heart was whole
I want to go home, I want to go home

the island is calling me in my dreams
In my conscious dreams
The calm blue waters, the unwavering warmth

Surrounding me with comfort I need
the friendly smiles, the massage, the touch
and that hot, semi spicy bowl of Tom yum soup

but yet I'm here, caged, no companionship
No Friendship, no special person to call my own
A cold and lonely loop

I want to go home,
I want to go home.
