Take Us Away

Take Us Away

Take Us Away

Take us away on the spirit of the night
Let our invisible wings now take flight

Allow the skies to open wide from above
Night take us on a journey of hope and love

Lead us over the valleys and the hills
Let us know you are here for us still

Fly us to the moon and stars and back
Let our spirit make up for all our being lacks

Hold me in your arms while the tide is high
Reach out and kiss me under black velvet sky

We will reach out and touch the golden sun
When our glorious day has just begun

Swim the blissful sea till it is no more
Make passionate love upon her shores

Battle fire breathing dragons in the mist
I’d die by the sword for just one more kiss

We will ride wild horses in fields of gold
We will ride until the day we grow too old

Walk the wooded path both near and far
Hand in hand it shall be written in the stars

If I could make a wish this is what it would be
That you are here lying eternally next to me

Pick a bouquet of roses by the garden gate
Fear life will pass us by should we hesitate

We have the whole wide world to roam
But happiness is found while at home
