Poem -

the takeing --

they took me from my bed as i slept-

my parents where down stairs-

i was woken from a sleepy slumber -

my parents are unaware -

#

why are you takeing me ?

did i do something wrong ?

why have you covered my eyes ?

in my bed is where i belong -

#

across the lawn they dragged me -

to a van that waits for me -

nobody is there to hear me -

and nobody will see

#

the stench ot dirty leather-

and the smell of stinking sweet -

they tied me up from head to toe -

and into hell i did set ,

#

they drove me down to the docks-

where a boat waits for me -

what will happen to me ?

what about my family ?

#

it´s three  months since i was teken -

and i dont no where i am -

i live with a group of people -

the lady insists i call her mam -

#

is there somebody looking for me -

or is this life now my fath-

i hope my parents find me soon -

i can only hope and wait

#

do they remember there little child-

who was once as happy as could be -

have they forgotten what i look like -

have you forgotten me ?

#

there is no point in looking-

for its being to long now -

i love you mam and dad -

you will find me some day some how .

Paul,
I just wanted to thank you for sharing this, and though its a difficult topic, if it is fiction, then you conveyed the reality of being abducted brilliantly. However, if this happened to you I can say I'm truly sorry for the tragedy and I understand because I too was "Taken" and forced into a life of hell in a cult. Take care and keep writing!
