Tales of Yggdrasil: From The Gates of Valhalla

Tales of Yggdrasil: The Next Life

Tales of Yggdrasil: From The Gates of Valhalla

In halls of gold where warriors stood,
Valhalla's might, in Asgard's wood.
Prepared for Ragnarök’s fierce fight,
With Odin leading, day and night.

The clash of gods, the giants' roar,
In battle joined, on Vigrid's floor.
Valhalla’s sons, with valor true,
Fell in the fray, 'neath skies of blue.

From chaos' grip and fiery doom,
The world reborn, from Ragnarök’s gloom.
Valhalla’s halls, with glory past,
In memory held, their shadows cast.

The Einherjar’s fight, in saga told,
Their bravery, a tale of old.
Some may survive, yet purpose fades,
As new world dawns, and old one wades.

From ashes rise, a land of peace,
New gods ascend, and strife does cease.
Baldr and Höðr, with light renewed,
And Thor’s brave sons, in strength pursued.

Víðarr, Váli, stand in grace,
Móði, Magni, take their place.
The cycle shifts, from war to calm,
A world reborn, in nature's balm.

From Valhalla’s gates, the fallen gaze,
Upon the new world, in sunlit rays.
Odin and Thor, with watchful eyes,
Guardians now of earth and skies.

The halls that rang with war’s fierce cry,
Now whisper peace, 'neath a clear sky.
The Einherjar’s honor, forever bright,
In Yggdrasil’s shadow, pure and light.

A world transformed, from night to day,
Valhalla’s spirit, in stories stay.
In echoes vast, through time's embrace,
The heroes' deeds, we still retrace.

In new gods' reign, the past revered,
A future bright, with hope and cheer.
Valhalla’s legacy, brave and bold,
A mythic truth, forever told.

The fallen gods look down from high,
Watching over earth and sky.
They guide the new world on its way,
With unseen hands, both night and day.

Yet in the mists of time ahead,
New tales will rise, as old ones tread.
For in the heart of Yggdrasil,
The cycle turns, and legends fill.

Hello Maximillian...

I still find it sad when some rewards are given after they're dead...

Some get them for reasons we don't always understand...

Great write!
