Tales of Yggdrasil: Battle of Ragnarök

Tales of Yggdrasil: Bloodshed till the end

Tales of Yggdrasil: Battle of Ragnarök

In ancient times, when winters three, Without a summer’s warmth, we’d see. Fimbulwinter’s icy breath, Foretold the world’s impending death.
Heimdall’s horn, Gjallarhorn’s call, Echoes through the realms of all. Gods and giants, side by side, Prepare for fate, no place to hide.
Fenrir’s chains are shattered wide, The wolf unleashed, with jaws spread wide. Jörmungandr from the sea does rise, Bringing forth doom, beneath dark skies.
Surtr from the south, with sword ablaze, Marches forth, the world to raze. Flames and fury, doom in sight, Asgard’s walls engulfed in light.
Odin rides to meet his end, Against the wolf, his life to spend. Fenrir’s bite seals Odin’s fate, But Vidar’s vengeance won’t abate.
Thor confronts the serpent great, Mjölnir strikes, but not too late. Jörmungandr falls, yet Thor succumbs, To venom’s grip, his life undone.
Loki and Heimdall’s fateful stand, Brother foes, hand in hand. Their deadly duel, both lives to claim, In death, they’re bound, their fate the same.
Surtr’s fire consumes the world, Flames and chaos, unfurled. The old world dies, in fiery strife, Yet from the ashes, springs new life. Waters rise and cleanse the land, New life sprouts from earth and sand. Gods reborn, and humans too, Begin anew, the cycle true.
Baldr and Hodr, from Hel return, With Vidar, Vali, new worlds to learn. Thor’s sons, Magni, Modi, stand, To forge anew, a fertile land.
Lif and Lifthrasir, safe from harm, Awaken in the world reborn. Together they, the earth repopulate, A brighter dawn, a fiercer fate.
In echoes of Yggdrasil’s might, Ragnarök’s tale, of doom and light. The end and start, forever bound, In Norse myths' cycle, life is found.
