TALKING TO THE MOON

TALKING TO THE MOON

I felt an overwhelming sadness
As I gazed at the evening sky
The Moon was there, smiling
As I sat and talked nearby
I just needed someone to talk to
And in his own special way
The Moon was there, listening
But he didn't have much to say

My Dear Gayle,

The Man In The Moon was resting, as I looked into the sky;
I told him of my problems, I thought I heard him cry!
But I knew he was in slumber, and had responded to a dream;
For he also had a smiling face, an oxymoron to me it seemed!

Hugs, Peace and Love,
