Red hsien tsai, Chinese spinach, or an edible amaranth
Stir-fried with garlic cloves is a delicious dish.
Soaked in its soup,Β the colour of cooked rice turns red
Used to be a rare delicacyΒ in my childhood.I grow and enjoy eating them now in a foreign place,
'n' the taste is the same as as inΒ my birthplace.
O! One never forgets the taste of oneβs childhood.
