Tears

Inspired by a new poet I read today, thank you Gwendoline β˜€

Bottle up all your tears
Wine for your later years
Except it's not better with age
Keeping this emotion in a cage
It's like blocking up a river
Preventing your life giver
Stopping the energetic flow
You must let the tears go
When they start to come
Let the streams just run
Let nature run it's course
Feel the tidal waves force
It will eventually subside
Drift away with the tide
If you keeped it all locked up
You will become blocked up
Your tears will begin to boil
Building pressure like a coil
Until something comes to disrupt
And like a volcano you erupt
Unleashing bursts of liquid fire
That will destroy all you desire
So please try your best just to release
The tears that fall will bring you peace

Wow oh wow, how beautiful is this. See how light came from darkness? That was you πŸ’› You crafted a wonderful and powerful message. One I have pinned for future reference, to remind myself it’s okay to let go. This is truly a gift you have shared, and I am grateful you chose to express your thoughts in poetry today. Absolutely all you and truly gorgeous βœ¨πŸ‘πŸŒ»πŸ’“x

may all your days be full of love and light πŸŒŸπŸ’›
