Poem -
Tears of stone
Melting iceΒ in a whiskey glass,
Oscillated rings slowlyΒ pass.
Maddening silence, numbing loom,
Resonate inΒ heart's heavy gloom.
Pickled by a briny past,
A bit 'o salt for tequila blast.
Melancholy to the very bone.
Finding comfort inΒ a tinklyΒ tone.
Sorrow drownin' in amber flask,
Paint a smile on a Harlequin mask.
HideΒ feelings like shame,
No one wants to see pain.
Sway toΒ music by hair 'oΒ dog,
Keep hurt in oblivious fog.
Harden a heart no, feelings shown,
Till you cry tears of stone.

I'd have much to say but those above me pretty much nailed it, these lines were the clutch "Sway to the music by hair of the dog,
Keep the hurt in the oblivious fog.
