Poem -

Tender Angel, gently walk with thee

Tender Angel, gently walk with thee
Guide him through this insanity
Show him where he can find peace
His tortuous mind make it cease

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....

Don't let the shadows steel his dreams
Bless his lips, don't let them scream
In retaliation from nightmares old
created by a heart, bitter and cold

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....

He showed no mercy to this child
Who's now self destructive, running wild
Unable to love, he doesn't know why
Yet plentiful is the tears he seems to cry

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....

Is thy salvation in the eyes of hope
Gentle Angel please help him cope
With this turmoil burning deep inside
The soul of this innocent broken child

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....

Wrap your arms around his waist
And gently kiss his tear stained face
Wipe his quilt away with the truth
That he was not to blame for his stolen youth

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....

Playful innocence wiped away
Playful innocence lost that day
Stole from one so tender and young
Stole from him before it had begun.....
