Terrains of Diversity

I have walked
through the 
Sahara
While Camels
Passed
me 
Confused 
at my presence

I have stumbled
through
the Jungles
of Ecuador
Hearing
the Laughter
of Monkeys
mocking me
for being there

I have shuffled
through a 
blizzard
in Northern
Scandinavia
As a Wolf
stalks
me

I have crawled
through rice paddies
weapon in hand
south of the 
DMZ
Listening
to the Cries
of dogs
awaiting
slaughter
at a nearby
slaughterhouse

And every time
my thoughts
were day dreams
of anticipation
of
meeting you.................
