This is for everyone and everything I love...

Thank you mom for holding my hand and walking me down the streets
Giving me ice cream and hugs in the heat
And being by my side when I cry
Sang me twinkle twinkle when you tucked me in at nigh

Thank you dad for helping me up when I've fallen
For giving me kisses in bed
Holding me close when my little dog was dead
Taking me to school in your rusty old car
Laying in the meadows and looking at the stars

Thank you sister for giving me your love when all we did was fight
In my darkness times you gave me your wonderful light
We played with my barbie dolls until you started to complain
You're the one who I held when we adopted you and flew back on the air plane

Thank you brother for making me sound smart
Who let me play with your little toy cars
I made you dinner and tucked you in at night
And went out into the streets when you ran away far

Thank you older brother for giving me boldness
Who made me ashamed each day
We snuck down the halls at night and watched movies
And went outside with me when I wanted to play

Thank you my friends for giving me company
For making me feel loved and special
For giving me hope when I felt drowned
And made me smile when I frowned

Thank you to YOU for reading my poems each day
For giving me the reason to say
"I feel happy and none can say that I feel ashamed."
You're the reason why I wake up each day and write these poems for you
Not for fame or to boast about but for you to feel amaze!
Though you may have no clue-
I really love you!
