Thank you

Getting away from it all.
Away from those who are masked.
Away from the gossip and constant whispers from the past.
Separating yourself from those who won’t help you grow or move forward.
Letting go of everything and anything to go on toward,
To reach that happiness, I must let it go;
The mistakes and the judgements that once were bestowed,
Upon me. Turning of that alarm that goes off in your head,
that reminds you everything is better left unsaid.
But then to finally realize that you can and will
Be blessed by the Lord for those holes are yet to be filled.
The Lord is my shepherd whom shall I fear,
From these eyes, I will no longer shed a tear.
So I say thank you to the one up above,
For you’ve never left me and you’ve shown me true love.
