Poem -

That girl

Originally wrote on Tuesday, 30 October 2012.

Listening to the rain drops hitting on the tin roof,

going to the same beat of her heart,

drip, bump, drip, bump,

her mind tumbles over like her stomach twists to her fears,

what's on her mind?

what answers is she looking to find?

time tick's by to the same rhythm as the rain,

drip, tock, drip, tock.

she is thinking how once upon a time she had a man to hold her,

now all she has is a teddy bear.
How once someone would wipe the tears away but now they just fall...
but underneath it all...
how long before she will fall?
