THAT JOURNEY

No special day is needed

For me to think of you.

For you are always with me

In everything I do.

Time has passed on by

But my memories will always stay.

And that`s one thing that`s for sure

They will never go astray.

Deep in my heart is a picture

More precious than silver or gold.

It`s a picture of you

And unlike me you will never grow old.

Traveling to heaven is a special journey

From the old world to the new.

And some day I`ll take that journey

So that Andrew my darling, again I can be with you.

When I get to heaven

Where all are free from pain.

I`ll put my arms around you

And we`ll never be parted again.

Never a day do I forget you

In my heart you are always near.

God alone knows how much I miss you sweetie

And all the love you gave so free and clear.

My heart still aches with sadness

For what it meant to lose you
