That Point Where We Each Begin

Here, when we lay
like this
there is no need for
words at all
nor even mirrors ..
Somehow
we lose the want
of them ..
Here, when we lay
like this
where clarity and
clouding
do each reside and
simultaneously
play their
little tricks on us ..
That point
when it all seems
so perfect ..
Here, when we lay
like this
where we are lent
a vague but
otherwise agreeable
ambiguity ..
That precious point
when neither
you or I are sure, where
you might end
and then, the me begins
or vice versa ..
That then, must surely
be the point
w
e each become perfect ..

Perfectly penned Neville, I do like how you can grab a moment and totally submerge your reader deep into its heart. You gave this moment so much heart my friend. Just beautiful x

You know I think this is the point where you both lay on your backs, sigh contentedly and light up. Some would argue these moments rank up right up there with those  other few and far between 'best bits' Nev....fabulous write as always x

My word how you just made me chuckle .. the kind of cheeky guilty chuckle of an ex-nicotine addict .. but I couldn't agree with you more my friend .. Thank you, for stopping by these words of mine Marion .. x
