Poem -

From the eye of the Private Eye

From the eye of the Private Eye

though his words
said one thing
his eyes told me
something different

21 ft rule
a concept
a civilian
cannot understand

justification can
be subjective
yet the
continuity of
unspoken intentions

The idealist
yearns to
question actions
that he has
no concept of

While the realist
cannot get passed
historical precedence
to a world
that no longer exists.

A broken mirror
absorbs their
reflection
leaving a distortion
to reality
while it teases
our fantasies

My car
is parked
My camera hitched
hoping to
capture
an imprint
of a story
left untold

secrets
smudges
reality
it interferes
to what
should have
been

Your hand
seeks
to cover
the mouth
of deceit
while your
desires manipulate
the ethics
your born with

maybe flirtation
with sociopathy
burned your
roots to caring
what is right
or wrong
regardless your
damaged goods
and the doe
that gets caught
up with your
drama
becomes mere
appetizers
when it is time
to feast

Rest assure
I am ready
to catch
you doing
your deed

so that your
love ones
can just
move on..

Hay Greg this is
A good poem
Your lay out
Is great but
Not to be mean
 Your poem would
Be greater if you
Put capital letters
At the beginning
Of your sentence
Then it would be
A greater poem
I am not picking at
You just trying to help

Thank You For the feedback.  I actually do this on purpose.  Many poets do not use capitalization in their art.  I am one of them.  I do not obey rules. This is artistic expression.
Appreciate you
