The Airbrush

We didn't need the Romans, ruins littering the countrry,
they can go, perhaps we should target football results,
especially the Italian ones - we'll put those right one day,
have a referendum until you get your result they say.

Never mind statues and road names, get rid of the wars,
twenty million lives saved, one wonders how that would be;
changing everything that you don't like, how wonderful to do,
but something can't be right, aren't we supposed to suffer too?

Aren't we supposed to have something to moan about?
the paradise scenario is not practical or could it really be?
Moaners and activists, ever since someone shook the tree,
perhaps they're the ones who should be removed permanently.

We'll let them have 'one' which the maligned British created,
they can remove poor Pakistan which after all was overrated.
