Poem -

The Beast In Me

The Beast In Me

The Beast in me
lies
In
Wait
Salivating
For

Score
To
Settle

The Beast in Me
ignores
The
Values
Taught
In Sunday
School
During
My youth

The Beast in Me
Wears a leash
Called self control
Which is guided
More by self perseverance
Than moral convictions
Though
The still small (Holy Spirit)
Voice
Remains
A guide
To what would
Otherwise
Be pure
SELF DESTRUCTION

SOCIETY's
culture
has now
transformed
in  the wind
What was truth
Is now fiction
and what was
Taboo
Becomes the
Norm

For a law man
Trouble awaits
As the demons
Scatter the
earth
Like cockroaches
attacking
Improper
Storage of
Produce
In a warehouse
I feel more and
More
Compelled
To unleash
The Beast In Me.....
