Poem -
The best reason
Again, I start another day
And there's no shying away
I need to keep going strongΒ
As they depend on me to go onΒ
Doesn't matter how tough it gets
The sadness, lies and regretsΒ
I have to hold my head up highΒ
I look at them to remember why
No matter the time, year or season
They are my one, perfect reasonΒ
To keep my life going day by day
As if I go, would they be okay?Β
Β In all fairness it's not that bad
They make me smile when things go mad
Β I've never felt such a feeling of loveΒ
They are my gift sent from aboveΒ
I'm not special or anyone great
I'm warn out, tired and I ache
Even so I make life happy and funΒ
Because they make me proud to be their mumΒ
