The bickering Blue tits

The bickering Blue tits

Oh pretty, petite blue tit
you are identical to the rest
Wearing your colourful
blue, white, yellow & green
feathered vest

You have wakened from your slumber in a tree hole nest
Joining all your siblings
on a feeding quest

They are bickering bullies
bothering you as you rest
Stand your ground bustled birdy
puff out your tiny chest

Ask Missy Robin with her scarlet red breast
She may offer you assistance
since you are distressed

Whisper in her minute ear,
If I may suggest
Both of you need seeds
sharing the same interest

Okay bold, bright bluetit
I see you have progressed
You are nibbling on a nut
dropped from a striking goldcrest

He was perched up above you
enjoying his monkey nut fest
So well done brazen blue tit
you have passed your test
Fullfilling your birdy needs
Well I guess you are blessed

My Dear Jill,

Your lovely portrayal about the intelligence of avians, makes it an honor if someone labels a person as a "birdbrain".

All my love,
