The Black Sheep

Since then to share, in a family's welfare
One must learn to be content
It is within reason, we share our family's treason
And jointly in the punishment
------------------------------------------------
So when you were born, into knowing you were the thorn
Bringing your family such shame
Feeling death is your due, after all it was you
The 'black sheep', to take all of the blame
With head down, crying tears without sound
We boarded that east bound caravan
-------------------------------------------------
For we sinners are rare, knowing somewhere out there
The answers to universal truth are calling us home
Willing to pay any price, to find the God and the light
And the intrigue of finding the place we belong
From the harmony of heaven
To a universal frame begun
--------------------------------------------------
Where we found our souls much more than dead
Cold and hot, moist and deep
Praying hard for their families to keep
And so,
InΒ His good order to their stations leap
For it is through God's belief
In the universal 'we'..... the 'black sheep'
That the diapason opens beautifully
Encompassing the violins,
Of our entire,
Family,
Tree...
