The Boat

Silently night descended upon them
desolate and alone, all night long on the ocean
where fog trails and mist creeps
the whisle of a boat, calls and cries unendingly
like some lost child in tears and in trouble.
Navigating through the darkness
the strength of the waves
swung the boat
from side to side like a pendulum
the winds were ferocious
needless to say but this i must say
was the view from the shore.
The lonely boat returns victorious
but battered and bruised
from last nights ordeal
the morning sun creeps
making a breakthrough
the early birds sing
circulating around the boat
hoping to steal the catch of the day.

Hey MR. SMOOTH!!.... this is an excellent use of adjectives and poetic prose to create perfect ambiance within your VERY creative phrasing...... painting a strong portrait of the fishing ship making its way back to port and topped off with a soft ending where the "early birds" wait to grab free portions of the catch so difficult
to have brought to shore........ well conceived and BEAUTIFULLY delivered!!.......ALL STARS!!...... well done........ and .......WELCOME to COSMO!!...... LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo. ?

I think this poem captures well for me the painting Fishermen at Sea by J.M.W. Turner. Awesome job!
