The boys watch

People say time flies and we end up trying to cut down its wings
We get too caught up in what we don't have and drown in wasted things
We want to find time to be free while stressed lets see what wasted brings
Time ticks and tocks until time is completely chipped away
We chip and chip until we finally see its so hard to grip
Because no one can know when they will slip tomorrow or today
People take time for granted mixing what they do with what they need
Spending time until there is none did you spend any to succeed
Spend it on this spend it on that just so you can try to relax
Don't always look to the future because soon you'll look at the past
Why do we say time moves slow in the present
And then say it's fast in the future
