Arise O Morning star
Make your presence known 
When you are present all things are beautiful 
And the fear of the night is gone 

You see pass my thoughts 
You hear my heart, you cradles my soul
You are the brightness and joy of life
To you I surrender, take full control 

Where do you sleep when darkness appears 
Please hold my hand and keep me there
Remove the blindness from my eyes 
Let me see your glory in earth and sky 

Lighten my paths for I stumble easily 
Sharpen my awareness so I can be free 
I am tired of being a victim of my own endeavors 
So guide me with your light of your love 
And leave me never.
