The Broken Heart

Within my heart, a place of sorrows,
A place so big, will there be a tomorrow,

Promising fate, is what the future holds,
If people are interested, the truth will be told,

Projecting all their issues, to lie that they are mine,
I am alive in the moment, so everything is fine,

Avoid dwelling in the future, all I have is today,
An easier thing to do, it's the logical way,

Patience and tolerance, is the key to satisfaction,
To be kind and loving, seems to be the only action,

In life what is put in, is what one receives,
Unless victim of a crime, where others are deceived,

How long can I take this, the abuse I must feel,
The emotions can creep up, the disappointment is real.

How long can my heart, endure all the stress,
Is this a competition, to see who's the best,

This is an experiment, to see how much I can take,
It's Risky business for me, yet I feel awake,

I arose this morning, at the crack of dawn,
Alone sitting here writing, where has everybody gone,
