Poem -

THE BUCKET LIST

Life’s like that

THE BUCKET LIST

Oh dear Lord I’ll write a list
Of the things I ought to do
They call it a bucket list
 Before one reaches you

Some go sky diving Lord
But I’m afraid of heights
Perhaps I’m more suited Lord
To more terra firma delights

Skiing might be fun Lord
Though I’m not fond of the cold
Its my bones you see Lord
They are getting rather old

Perhaps I’ve got the ticket Lord
Race car driving might be good
Though speeding gets you fined Lord
Now that’s not what one should

Dare devils swim with sharks Lord
Though I really don’t like fish
Afrer all they are your creatures lord
Being eaten ain’t my wish

Seems quite problematic Lord
To write a bucket list
Perhaps it’s in your hands Lord
Now you e got the gist
