The buzzing blighter?

I watched a man today 
escaping from a bee
what a commotion he was making
as he raced passed me

You should have seen the plight of him
I’ve never seen such a state
as the buzzing blighter followed him leaping over a gate

He ran around in a circle
flapping his arms in the air
Everyone was watching him 
although he was unaware

How an earth can a little bee
frighten an adult male
I guess it’s not the bee that scares him but the sore sting in his tail

I couldn’t help but snigger 
as I stared at this amusing sight
this bold bee was not letting go
it was catching him alright

Back & forth along the lonnen
round & round the fishing lake
At one point I almost yelled at him
Will you stop running for pity’s sake

You see when I see a wasp or bee
hovering near my face
I find if I don’t panic
they fly off to another place

Well I bet your wondering if it caught him
as I watched for half an hour
‘Yup’ it stung him on the end of his nose
then it dropped dead on a flower
