Poem -

THE CALL

If the world is a strange place of light and dark
I stand alone, stripped bare
Teetering on the inbetween
I watch as others wash themselves happy in the sunshine
Like a shy child I dither and long to join them
There....
Yet, the dark calls me home like a loving mother at teatime
And I'm strangely relieved.
