THE COURTROOM

THE COURTROOM

He wore a bright yellow suit in court today
The jury and judge would listen to what he had to say
The accused stands accused for a terrible crime
If found guilty prison beckons for a very long time

The closing speeches have been done its time to wait
The jury have been sent off to deliberate
Barristers painted a picture of that terrible night
The killing of Frances McCann was an awful sight

Three hours of deliberation the jury now return
The fate of the accused we are now about to learn
" Guilty of murder in the first degree " the foreman read
The accused stared into space and bowed his head

Prison for twenty five years for this young man
For killing the life of Frances McCann
