The crash

The crash

O delicious death,
How sweet you melt…
Liquid dreams in my mouth,
Caressing streams run down,
Down.

Misty solace comes,
To wrap me in her shaded arms
To warm me in the cool night.
Crisp crackles of the crash,
Fade into a dull echo of my life.

Sombre tones of a long forgotten
Song, now rise to the surface of
What is left. Singing me into
A dreamless sleep.
