TV GAGA

TV GAGA

All night they look at me,
But don't see me.
They look through me, past my outer shell and deep inside.
Sometimes they scream at me! "Damn!"
Or cry in low tones only I can hear.
Their laughter tickles me, I did that.
I have that power.
All day they are gone.
I sit and wait, quiet and unnoticed,
A low red glimmer of light my only sign of life. Waiting and waiting for my chance to shine again.

Is this a metaphor for a person in the domestic context?

Good insight, but it can be about anything you see in it
