TV GAGA

TV GAGA

All night they look at me,Ā
But don't see me.Ā
They look through me, past my outer shell and deep inside. Ā
Sometimes they scream at me! "Damn!"Ā
Or cry in low tones only I can hear.
Their laughter tickles me, I did that.Ā
I have that power.Ā Ā
All day they are gone.Ā
I sit and wait, quiet and unnoticed,
A low red glimmer of light my only sign of life. Waiting and waiting for my chance to shine again.

Is this a metaphor for a person in the domestic context?

Good insight, but it can be about anything you see in itĀ
