Poem -
The Curse Of The Monkey's Paw!
Go on touch it simply hold it,
Three wishes it will grant you.
A monkey's paw from east India,
Three wishes of foolish taboo.
You have been woefully warned,
Clutch it and wish if you dare.
Then your three joyous wishes,
Will become your darkest nightmare.
Believe me I so resentfully know,
I made my wishes only a year ago.
A young man in his fearless prime,
Of that man a blind crippled shadow.
For there's always a price to pay,
By those held in its alluring awe.
Evil not good it cruelly bestows,
The curse of the monkey's paw!

Hey SHAUN!!....you write on such interesting subject matter.....reminds me, very much, of my own personal tastes and pursuits in life.....I do a LOT of research on the paranormal, psychic, ufology, ancient cultures, and etcetera for my blog called "Metaphysics and the Movies" which I stopped contributing to in 2017 but I still have up and running.....anyway, long story short.....I just find your choices in subject matter particularly compelling......thanx for sharing this one brother!!......ALL STARS!!.....Love and Rockets!!.......T xo : )

And read a bit now and again about the subjects you have on your blog.
I like to write about anything and never get tied down to one theme, a tad eclectic you might say. And I might put up tonight my Archangel Trilogy which is complete in parts 1 and 2 the third part is incomplete and as you say on the great poems I've read by you 'work in progress'.
But be warned, some of it is quite graphic and violent, especially part 2 which has an Archangel Azeal's backstory to set the stage for the final part 3, he is the crux of the entire trilogy. And he's also in The War In Heaven:
