The Darkness Inside Me

The darkness inside me is coming out
The darkness inside me is flowing at an extreme amount
The darkness inside me pins me to the ground
The light surrounding me is no longer around
The darkness inside me is more less than mellow
For he’s like my friend, quite the fellow
He has his days, and he also has his nights
Where he comes out, plays, and causes fights
Not with anyone but ourselves...
...not with anyone but ourselves
The darkness inside me is sometimes flirty
But sometimes he acts a little dirty
Not dirty in a sexual sense
But dirty as in a gross bully way, it sometimes gets too intense
For the darkness inside me is sometimes too strong
It takes over and I find myself doing nothing but wrong
I’m not even sure what to do
I just keep on missing you
I wish I knew who I had been before
Because the darkness wins once again, at least until further more
