THE DAY OF JACK THOMAS

The day of Jack Thomas couldn't get any worse
Boy did he swear and boy did he curse
Getting out of bed to start his day
He stubbed his toe on the carpet underlay

Opening the fridge door the milk jug was bare
The cupboards also told him no cereal was there
Going outside it had just started to rain
The bus at the bus stop was ten minutes late again

At work poor Jack's computer wouldn't start
No doubt about his day was falling apart
All sandwiches gone at lunchtime as you'd expect
This day poor Jack would certainly forget

Finally home Jack was happy as can be
That's when he reliased he forgot his key
Tomorrow is another day dear Jackie boy
Hopefully it will be better and fill you with joy
