The day the skies turned grey

Endless days of heartache, endless nights of pain,
What we wouldn't all give to see that smile again,
There are so many things we wish we could say,
We would wrap our arms around you and ask you to stay,
Lives were changed forever that fateful day,
The world darkened, the skies turned grey,
He left so sudden no time to say goodbye,
Loved ones left behind, questioning why,
Gage shared a love that will never fade and never ends,
He will continue to live on through his family and friends,
He has been watching closely from up above,
His two best friends through grief have found love,
That unforgettable smile radiates through the sun,
Two families once strangers now united as one,
Thoughts of gage carry us through everyday,
Memories and time spent together will not fade away,
When the leaves softly rustle and the wind begins to blow,
Open your heart, feel his presence, when he is there you will know,
You think of him fondly as a new day will start,
Feel that pounding in your chest he lives in your heart
