The Days Of Our Lives

Each day we spend together, surpasses the one before;
Our passions augment ever, as we love each other more!
We start out early in the mornings, with exercise and work;
It’s business before pleasure, responsibilities never shirked!

I make us a healthy breakfast, Greek yogurt and organic fruit;
We are fastidious about our diets, all natural, resolute!
We leave our home by ten a.m., doing something every day;
Food shopping, errands and other chores, with also time to play!
.
Our afternoons are relaxing, some TV and a needed rest;
Then we cook a gourmet meal, that rates among the best!
A night or two we party, dinner, karaoke, and some dance;
Every evening we hold and snuggle, such beautiful romance!
.
We whisper our “I love yous”, as we itch each other’s backs;
We are both such adept scratchers, we’ve really got the knack!
Finally, Mr. Sandman, brings a dream to both our brains;
“The Days Of Our Lives” so perfect, two soulmate’s eternal reign!
