Poem -

The demon.

Did you want me?
From the first bite.
Did you crave me?
When I put up a fight.
Into this night
I pour my very soul

Did you taste me?
When my blood was up.
Dismantling all fear
Into minute pieces
Into this night
I pour my very being.

Did you need me?
Again and again
Feeding off my adrenaline
Bleeding into you
Into this night
I pour out my heart

Can you find me?
When all lights dim
Will you reach for me
As I reach for you
Into this night
Undeniable hunger wins.
