The Demon's Sight

the demon, the soldier

The Demon's Sight

The dream, the demon
The axe, the soldier
The wind, the night.
The fight
&, oh! what a sight
Blood black in color,
Flowing like a river.
Fear in demon's eyes, brightened the soldier's smile.
There was no right,
There was no light.
Darkness, was on soldier's side.
Demon wanting the light, stood waiting...
Oh! what a sight.....
Good and bad, lost way back.
The demon fought & light he brought.
Soldier on demon's sword,
"Spare me" cried a lot.
Demon smiled,
"Be the angel and, live to your date. Darkness, is just my fate. Retell the story, you be the hero.
So, next time a soldier crosses to the other side, I can again fight, with all my might and, bring the soldier back to light.
Oh! what a sight."
