Poem -

The devil and the fox

Alone the devil walked one-day
Through the trembling wood
And he came upon two Fox and kits
Teaching them to play
The father fox banished him
"There are no deals to be made"
But mother fox cried for him
For a mother he must have
A woman so tender kind and great
A woman whose son was cast away
A mother the devil had
Before he ran away
Surely she loved him taught him to play
And now she watches day by day
He makes deals for souls of his sister's
His brothers he mocks their way
Mother fox cried for him
Through the night and day
For she is a mother to a son
A son she loves every day.
